Healthy Italian Recipes was created from the Gourmand World Award Winning Book series The Basic Art of Italian Cooking by Celebrity Chef Maria Liberati.  Italian cuisine is generally a healthier way to eat but the recipes included here may be healthier versions of typical Italian Recipes.  Our goal is to share recipes that use fresh, local, and least processed ingredients which makes any recipe healthier.  But this page will share lower fat, no fat, gluten free, KETO, nut free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian versions of recipes as well.
